1. BOULDER FARMERS MARKET (Boulder)

The Boulders Farmers Market is one of the most notable markets in Colorado. This market occurs on WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS from April to November. It offers a variety of organic produce, free-range animal products, and even handmade goods. Growers-only farmers market run by the Boulder County Farmers Markets nonprofit, celebrating its 36th year.

The market also offers a food court where you can buy ready-to-eat food from local restaurants (think tamales, steamed dumplings, pizza and fresh-pressed juices). Grab a plate and take a seat at the tables or under a shady cottonwood on the grass.

3. CHERRY CREEK FRESH MARKET (Denver)

Located in Denver, the Cherry Creek Fresh Market is Denver’s largest farmers market. The market occurs on both SATURDAYS and WEDNESDAYS from May to September. 4. CITY PARK FARMERS MARKET (Denver)

This farmers market takes place at Denver’s historic Sullivan Fountain. Enjoy organic produce from 90+ local farmers and food producers. This downtown event is a great spot to find some Colorado wines, cheeses and local flair.  Enjoy chef demos, learn about urban garden plots, listen to great music, take a yoga lesson, and so more.

5. EL PUEBLO FARMERS MARKET (Pueblo)

A Colorado-only produce and handmade crafts market, on the grounds of the El Pueblo History Museum in downtown Pueblo, CO. Also find locally-made products, including honey, jelly, preserves, sauces, cheese, natural medicine, crafts, and soap will also be available for purchase. El Pueblo Farmers Market is located under the pavilion of the El Pueblo History Museum, on the corner of Union Avenue and City Center Drive (1st Street).

7. GREELEY FARMERS MARKET (Greeley)

The Larimer County Farmers Market is the oldest farmers market in northern Colorado. 12. UNION STATION FARMERS MARKET (Denver)

13. VAIL FARMERS MARKET & ART SHOW (Vail)

The Vail Farmers Market is entering its 20th year in Vail on Meadow Drive. The event started with a few tents and now has grown to have around 125 vendors. All vendors have “Made in Colorado” products: lots of art and jewelry, plus pastries and artisan breads, handmade candles and soaps, snowboards and longboards, coffee roasters — and music provided by the Vail Jazz Festival.
