Multifamily housing construction is growing and helping the economy to strengthen in return. Over 2 million households are expected to move into multifamily housing units as the labor and economic markets rise. The construction industry has seen a hike in demand for rental unit construction and multifamily construction. According to the Census Bureau’s housing vacancy survey, the number of vacant rental units in the U.S has decreased to levels not seen since 2002. More here
